Connect
There are six ways you can connect with the Ethics of Resource Extraction Cluster:

Contribute1. Share a resource
CBERN aims to make resources in business ethics widely available through our website. We want to profile your event, your research or report, your organization. We have research assistants at Canadian institutions working to create a comprehensive list of publications, tools, courses and events. You can help by sending us a link and short description here.
Join2. Subscribe to the Cluster mailing list
CBERN sends out a monthly email digest of events, workshops, reports from recent events, calls for comment, and policy decisions that relate to business and human rights in Canada and on the global scene. The digest is a great way both to promote your news, and to connect with what is going on in the cluster, with minimal impact on your inbox. We also send out other periodic announcements of national Network activity. Subscribe to the Cluster mailing list here.

 3. Contribute to the discussion
Clusters
CBERN encourages public dialogue through commenting on our website. Wherever you see an opportunity to comment, we encourage you to join the conversation. Comments are monitored daily.
 4. Join the network
ProfileCBERN connects over 1000 researchers and users of research across multiple sectors in Canada and internationally. Over 300 participants have posted their profiles, featuring their contact and social media info as well as their research interests and connection to clusters. Join the Network and connect with people who share your interests here
 5. Attend an event
EventCBERN periodically hosts both face-to-face and online events that relate to our five themes. Register for events and engage in these targeted opportunities. Past and upcoming event information is hosted here.
6. Become a champion
LinkCBERN seeks champions to support current initiatives, identify and promote cross-sectoral engagement, and bring new ideas to the table as the Cluster develops over the next two years. With the support of CBERN core staff and research assistants, champions with an interest in resource extraction are invited to develop ideas for enhancing cross-sectoral and particularly industry participation in the network, which may involve:
  1. Creating strategic partnerships
  2. Identifying potential funding opportunities
  3. Developing new and enhancing existing programs which
    1. may include local, national and international workshops, and,
    2. focus on online program development
  4. Engaging graduate students
  5. Promoting collaboration and the co-creation of knowledge.
