Expression of Deadline: August 4, 2008

The Research Network for Business Sustainability (RNBS) and the Richard Ivey School of Business are hosting two forums in Toronto, Canada on the topics of:

  1. Socially Conscious Consumerism (Fall 2008; date TBD).
  2. Adaptation to Climate Change (Fall 2008; date TBD).

The RNBS Network is looking for up to 6 experts from both the communities of research and practice to present at each of the forums. Researchers' expenses will be covered up to a maximum of $1,000 if within North America, and $2,000 if outside of North America.

The forums are an important opportunity to engage in a dialogue with some of the world's thought leaders on the two topics in question. Last year's forums attracted a diverse audience, drawing from business, academia, government, and non-government organizations.

More details on the two topics can be found here. The forums fit into the broader projects described in the two Calls for Proposals on that webpage.

If you are interested in presenting, please send an expression of interest before August 4, 2008, to contact@sustainabilityresearch.org, along with a paragraph describing your expertise in the area.
