oikos/PRI Young Scholars Finance Academy 2010: "Mainstreaming Responsible Investment

oikos and the Principles for Responsible Investment are now inviting applications to the second oikos/PRI Young Scholars Finance Academy 2010 on "Mainstreaming Responsible Investment (Jan. 31 - Feb. 5, 2010). The annual programme provides a platform for the next generation of investment researchers and seeks to promote high-impact scholarship in responsible finance. The Academy will gather leading academics, practitioners and exceptional graduate students and young faculty pursuing research related to issues of integration, engagement and transparency in responsible investment. The academy features four distinguished guest academics:
- Dr. Rob Bauer, Professor of Finance, Maastricht University, The Netherlands
- Dr. Lars G. Hassel, Professor of Accounting and Auditing, Umeå School of Business, Sweden
- Dr. James P. Hawley, Co-Director, Elfenworks Center for the Study of Fiduciary Capitalism, Saint Mary's College of California, USA
- Dr. Céline Louche, Ass. Professor, Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School, Belgium

Application Instructions:
To allow in-depth discussions the oikos/PRI Young Scholars Academy is limited to 15 PhD students and 5 distinguished practitioners. Please send us your proposal abstract (max. 2 pages), a short resume and a letter of interest before October 30, 2009. Practitioners are invited to apply with a motivation letter.
