Communications Coordinator - Maquila Solidarity Network (MSN)
Deadline: 2008/09/26
Posted: 2008/09/02

The Maquila Solidarity Network (MSN) is a labour and women’s rights organization working to improve the wages and working conditions of workers in the global supply chains of retailers, manufacturers and brand merchandisers. In the last few years, our work has focused primarily on the garment and sportswear industries, with a geographical focus in Latin America. We have an office in Toronto, and a small office in Mexico City.

MSN is looking for a new staff person to coordinate communications, networking and outreach and to provide program support. The work will include outreach to network contacts, maintaining our website, media support and contact data base management. Because our primary network contacts are in Latin America, communication with Spanish-speaking contacts is an important component of this position.
