Dr. Thomas Homer-Dixon Presents the Keynote Address at the Social Investment Organization 100 Mile Dinner for Good Policy
On September 25, 2008 the Social Investment Organization hosted a 100 Mile Dinner for Good Policy. The dinner was a delicious menu from ingredients sourced within 100 miles of Toronto, and set the stage for the keynote address by Dr. Thomas Homer-Dixon on The Future of Public Policy and Capital Markets.
The evening was in support of the Fund for Action on Investment Responsibility (FAIR). FAIR is an exciting new initiative of TIDES Canada Foundation and the SIO. Its mandate is to advance research and education on public policy to encourage investment in sustainable and socially responsible activities.
