AbstractA consultant at an executive search and training firm must decide how to deal with the loss of seven of the firm's highly trained consultants who have decided to start their own consulting firm. As the consultants discuss the loss of their peers, there is a great deal of emotion including a sense of humiliation. Students are asked to take the position of the consultant, although they might also take the role of the firm's managers.
