Me in Brief

Past research has focussed on CSR motivations in the mining sector. Proposed research seeks to more explicitly contribute to SRI knowledge by investigating:

1. The strength of the correlation between individual ESG metrics and corresponding material environmental and social impacts;
2. How investors perceive the materiality of individual ESG metrics and how they incorporate such metrics into their decision-making process; and
3. If and how the inclusion of ESG metrics in investment decision-making leads to changes in corporate behaviour.
