| Summary | This independent analysis, based on a review of 57 recent sustainability reports from companies representing a range of industry sectors, presents examples of encouraging trends in human rights reporting, as well as indications of key areas where there is room for improvement. The aim of this review is not to put forward industry "best practice" but rather to provide reporting organizations and others with ideas to build on. The analysis was undertaken as part of a wider effort -- Human Rights: A Call to Action -- aimed at fostering improved understanding of how and why to publicly disclose policies and practice relating to human rights and how to embed this better understanding into global reporting standards. |
