Me in Brief

Allan Pedden is Vice President of PDK Consulting International, a worldwide consultancy practice focused the assessment and development of organizational culture and ethics. The firm’s process is founded on a facilitated self assessment technique pioneered by PDK designed to examine strategic governance along the human dimension. Over his career he has been a Chief Audit Executive and a Chief Financial Officer with appointments in both the private and the public sectors. Allan is also a founding member and the Executive Director of the Canadian Ethics Leadership Forum (CELF), a Board Member of the Ethics Practitioners Association of Canada (EPAC) and a founding collaborator and advisory group member of the Canadian Business Ethics Research Network (CBERN). In these capacities he works with chief executives, directors, professional associations, universities and the public to develop benchmark ethics management practices for ethical corporations and corporate leaders and is a regular contributor to a number of publications on the topic of organizational ethics as well as a frequent speaker and workshop leader with a wide range of professional associations both in Canada and abroad. Allan is a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) and CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) with a long-standing interest in organizational control and the ethics in management. He serves on the Grandstand Committee of the Calgary Stampede and Exhibition Association and on the Finance Committee of Calgary Meals on Wheels.
