Me in Brief

Inta earned her Ph.D. in Management at Carleton University in Ottawa with a focus on organizational behaviour. Her dissertation was in the area of organizational change management. Inta also holds an MBA from State University of New York at Buffalo (concentration in management skills and human resource management) and MA in English Language and Literature from Latvia State University. Currently Inta is about to receive a graduate diploma in program evaluation from the University of Ottawa.

Over the past ten years, Inta has been engaged in a variety of professional activities including teaching several management courses at Carleton University, carrying out qualitative and quantitative research projects in change management, innovation management, business ethics, and program evaluation, and consulting on organizational development issues.

Inta’s interest in ethics evolved with the ethical climate assessment project in a federal government department where she developed an ethical climate measurement tool and contributed to the ethics training program evaluation. Inta’s further research plans involve a cross-disciplinary approach to explore the ethical aspect in some areas of such business disciplines as innovation and organizational change. Also, Inta intends to focus more on organizational ethics program evaluation.
