The fgl society is Canada's civic forum on corporate social and environmental responsibility founded in 2001 in Calgary, Alberta. The fgl society is both a private corporation, registered under the Canadian Corporations Act and a non-membership volunteer driven NGO. When the fgl society states that corporate responsibility is the 'right' thing to do, it means it is the ethical thing to do.
